A room where you can hear the sound of water flowing from the mountain through the window.

The walls are finished with Yamato plaster mixed with soot, straw, red clay, dried herbs and sand .
​ Kiyotsukyo is rich in water, so water is always flowing around the house, and you can hear the sound of the Kiyotsu River and the water flowing down into the pond at the backyard.
There are 4 guest rooms in Tani House including the first floor.
Among these, 3 rooms on the 2nd floor are usually used as the guest's bed rooms (2 Japanese-style rooms, 1 Western-style room).

All of them were refurbished by hands in collaboration with the local Japanese skilled carpenter.
